John A. Simcik, PE, CFM attended a HEC-RAS 2D Modeling Seminar on March 7th in Arlington, TX. It was a full day of learning both theory and practical use of the HEC-RAS 2D Hydraulic Modeling software. This software analyzes the flow of water in multiple directions and can be applied to watershed modeling to better delineate areas that would be subject to flooding during design storm events.
